Controller, EVSE charging point tester - PCE-EVSE 300 - PCE Instruments
For outlets type 1 and 2 / Simulation CP and PP Electromobility is growing. An important factor explaining this is the charging stations for electric vehicles. For the control of charging stations, also called Wallbox, special measuring instruments are required to check their functionality, safety device and insulation. There are often instruments to perform such measures. However, an adapter is required to connect the measuring instrument to a charging station.
The IRVE controller was specially designed for this purpose and has a wide variety of functions. All connections that come out of the charging station have an individual output via outlets. This means that all lines can be used via the IRVE controller. This allows to verify the insulation of the charging station using the IRVE controller. The IRVE controller has a protective connection plug (Schuko). Using the RCD tester, you can check the residual current device.
A charging cable does not only contain power lines to charge an electric vehicle, but also two interfaces. The electric vehicle communicates with the charging station through the CP line (Control Pilot / Pilot Control) and indicates the current state of the electric vehicle. The PP line (Proximity Plug / Proximity Connector) is used for communication between connected charging cable and charging terminal. Thus, the charging cable can indicate to the charging station how many amperes it can recharge. To test these two functions, the IRVE controller is equipped with the corresponding simulators.
The IRVE controller is delivered with the outlets type 1 and 2, which means that a large number of charging stations can be checked with the IRVE controller. The case allows to carry them outlets charging and the IRVE controller safely.
