The PCE-CM 40 flexible amplifier is ideal for current measurements up to 3000 A AC. In addition to measuring the TRMS current, you can also use the flexible amplifier to measure startup currents (Inrush). The measurement is done through the Rogowski coil. This means that the electrical conductor on which the flexible amplifier is located generates a voltage to the amplifier. This voltage is proportional to the conduction of the electric driver. This allows to measure with a flexible ampermeter, very high currents, at low risk. In addition to the current measurement, the amplifier measures frequencies on one range 50 to 400 Hz.
The PCE-CM 40 flexible amplifier is used to measure AC currents in electrical machines and installations. Thanks to Rogowski's flexible coil, with a diameter of 170 mm, you can use this ampermeter to measure in places where it is not possible to do so with a classic ampermeter. You can read the value of the AC current on the backlit LCD screen. It is also possible to save the values in a memory that you can read through the Bluetooth interface.
