Ohmmeter with range automatic up to 8 GΩ / Compact housing

The ohmmeter measures isolation resistances up to 8 GΩ (with auxiliary voltages of 250, 500 and 1000 V). This ohmmetre also integrates the alternative voltage measurement function and continues on a range up to 950 V DC and 700 V AC, as well as the resistance measurement function up to 2 kΩ maximum. It has a voltage tester with sound signal. You can also use the ohmmeter to check the polarization index and the dielectric constant.

You can set the values on the OLED screen of the ohmmeter by simply pressing a button. The device complies with DIN 57411 Part 1/VDE 0411 Part 1, Protection measures for electronic devices (IEC1010-1) and DIN VDE 0413 (ohmmeters). Although the ohmmeter is delivered calibrated in the factory, you can request an ISO calibration certificate (when you first order or when it is periodically recalibrated).

Definition of isolation resistance: The isolation resistance is the resistance in Ohms in lines, cables and electrical installations. This is a very important size for the prevention and protection of people against electrical discharges or material damage caused by leakage currents. The measurement of isolation resistance allows to verify and evaluate the condition of isolation (conductor and housing).
