The current clamp measures on one range between 0 and 1000 A AC/DC. Current measurement is carried out inductively using the clamp. With this clamp you can measure currents in lines with a diameter of up to 32 mm. Optional Rogowski coil increases the range measurement of this current clamp up to 3000 A AC. When carrying out current measurements, this clamp has several functions. For example, with this current clamp you can measure the starting current. This is an important function, since motors which integrate, for example, a ventilation system, or roof lighting, require a very high current when they start.
In addition to measuring current, this clamp also measures voltages on a range ranging from 0 to 1000 V AC/DC, resistances, frequency and capacitance. You can select the type of measurement using the rotary selector. The NCV function allows the current clamp to detect the absence of voltage. As soon as it detects a voltage of 150 V AC, the current clamp indicates this using a red LED. This function is always active, regardless of the size you have chosen using the rotary selector. In addition, the current clamp incorporates a lamp which illuminates the measurement area.
The Bluetooth interface allows you to connect the current clip to Android and iOS devices. Thanks to the free application of the current clip, you can view, record and edit the measurement values. This current clamp is indicated for many measurement works, thanks to the multiple functions it integrates.
