Isolation Measurer - PCE-IT100 - Isolation resistance measurement up to 4000 MΩ - PCE Instruments
Isolation resistance measurement up to 4000 MΩ The PCE-IT100 isolation gauge detects with auxiliary voltages of 125 V, 250 V, 500 V and 1000 V, insulation resistances up to a maximum of 4000 MΩ. In addition, this isolation meter measures low resistances up to 400 Ω and incorporates a continuous and alternative voltage measurement function. He also performs continuity tests. Other functions of the isolation meter are HOLD, which freezes the current value on the screen, and recovery on the screen of maximum and minimum values. The isolation meter screen is easy to read, even in dark circles, thanks to its large numbers and its backlit screen. The large keys and the wheel to choose the sizes make this PCE-IT100 isolation measurer an easy to use device. The contents of the shipment include the test cables with their respective probes, a cable contains a crocodile clamp and 6 batteries para power this isolation meter.
Limit values to be met in isolation measures:
New installations (dry spaces): 1000 Ω x V of the operating voltage (e.g., 230 V ≥230 kΩ).
New installations (wet spaces, open air): 500 Ω x V of the operating voltage.
Apparatus with earth socket: 1000 Ω x V of the operating voltage.
Device with double isolation: 2 MΩ.
Electric tools: 2 MΩ.
Low protection voltage: 250 kΩ.
Electric measuring apparatus: 5 MΩ
The usual test voltage values are: 100 V for low-voltage installations and telecommunications installations, 500 V for installations in buildings and houses, and 1000 V for low-voltage and transformer engines.
