The coating detector is a device that quickly determines the thickness of iron and non-ferrous metal coatings. The coating detector automatically detects the basic type. Once you have started the device, it is ready to measure. The measurement method is non-destructive, allowing to continue to use the surface on which the test is performed. The principle of operation is magnetic induction for ferrous metals and the Courant de Foucault for non-ferrous metals.
Before performing a measurement, you can set the limit values of the coating detector. If the measured value exceeds the established limit values, the screen will display a message indicating whether it is too thin or too large in the measured area. This is particularly useful for the control of the inputs and outputs of the goods, since the use of a coating detector allows to quickly and accurately verify the quality of the coating.
