Coating detector - Layer thickness meter - PCE-CT 100N - PCE Instruments
Coating detector for ferric and non-ferric metal bases / Precise and non-destructive measurement / Data transfer via Wi-Fi and USB / Compact design / Simple and reliable use
The coating detector measures by magnetic induction (ISO 2178) and with Eddy Current (ISO 2360). Both methods are used for non-destructive measurement of coating thickness on ferric (magnetic) metal bases and non-ferric (non-magnetic) bases. This coating detector measures the thickness of neutral magnetic layers on ferric bases, respectively on non-ferric bases.
The coating detector is ideal for making reliable measurements in situ. The external probe allows you to quickly and precisely measure the thickness in hard-to-reach areas. The coating detector has been designed to measure non-destructively, in addition to being easy to use. The values can be easily transferred to a computer using the USB cable.
Areas of application for this coating detector include the finishing sector, the automotive industry, shipbuilding, aerospace and bridge construction, as well as the mechanical and chemical industries.
