| Position the thickness meter on the surface and read the measurement value. You can also easily read layers of lacquer and paint, layers of plastic, chrome, copper and brass, zincing, enamel etc... on steel, stainless steel, iron and non-ferric metals (copper, aluminium, brass) as well as anodized aluminum. With the standards included in the delivery, you can calibrate your micrometer at any time. To do this, you will need to place the thickness meter on one of the sizing scabs. Be careful to place the right and flat meter. |
