Phoenix Inverter compact 12V - 230V 1600 VA (1300 Watts) Pur Sinus VE.Bus - VICTRON
VICTRON pure high-performance sinus converter with Sinusmax technology that achieves high and fast instant power.
This converter transforms the current 12 V continuous current into 230V AC current with high efficiency (92% to 95%)
The proper installation of this device is a guarantee of durability and performance: VICTRON recommends for 12/1600 VA a protective fuse of 80A. This converter is suitable for a capacity battery park between 100 and 400 Ah. The connection cable with the battery park for 12/1600 VA shall be of a section greater than 50 mm2.

VICTRON PHOENIX converters
VICTRON PHOENIX converters offer outstanding performance: exceptional performance (92% to 94% of the converted power), very high peak power (to cope with a point-of-energy overload, when some electrical appliances start) and very pure and perfectly constant electrical signal.
We recommend these converters for solar installations for small housing or holiday homes, rural electrification, mobile use on yachts or in motorhomes
They may also be used in commercial vehicles or for stationary industrial use (radiocommunication and measurement stations or telecommunication devices).
You can run the Phoenix converters (above 1200VA) in parallel and add their power. The configurations in three-phase are feasible using one or more devices for each phase.
We recommend not to plug the converter onto the solar regulator (consumer output), as in general the nominal power of the regulator is much higher than the maximum output amplifier of the regulator. A Victron converter connects to the battery(s), there is no deep discharge danger, as this type of converter detects when the battery voltage is too low.
VICTRON converter inverters
These Victron inverter converters transform the battery's continuous voltage into a stabilized alternative voltage, with the precision of the quartz: this is called a "Sinus Pur" voltage.
This allows you to power your most sensitive and demanding appliances (e.g., this level of precision is mandatory for microwaves).
The control of these inverters is very simple and the user is informed at any time of the operation status of the converter by light witnesses (DEL).
SinusMax technology allows accurate and high instant power
Developed for professional use, the VICTRON PHOENIX converter range is perfectly suited to the most diverse applications: these converters are compatible with all electrical appliances.
SinusMax technology allows very high instant power, impossible to achieve with conventional high frequency technology. Phoenix inverter converters are thus well suited to the power supply of devices that need a strong start-up call current, such as refrigeration compressors, electric motors and similar equipment.
Up to 6 converters can run parallel to get more output power. For example, six units 24/5000 will provide 24 kW / 30 kVA of nominal power. It is also possible to use a configuration three-phasee.
Computer interface
All VICTRON PHOENIX converter models have a RS-485 port. All you need, for a connection to your PC, is the MK2 interface of VICTRON. It is therefore possible to configure the output voltage and frequency, the overvoltage and undervoltage thresholds, and to program the relay. For example, this relay can be used to report multiple alarm conditions or to start an alarm generator.
The converter (or inverter) used in a photovoltaic or wind installation
The 12V/220V converter (also known as the inverter) transforms the continuous current of the batteries (12V, 24V or 48V) into an alternative current 230 volts.
Just connect the terminals located on the converter to the battery caps. The electrical appliances you want to power are then simply connected to the or outlets 220/230 V of the converter (nota: the sum of the power of the devices connected to the converter shall be less than the power indicated for the converter).
It is recommended to minimize the distance of the Cable Regulator - Battery and Battery - Onduleur (inferior to 6m) in order to avoid electricity loss.
