The Sharp panel NU-JC420B is equipped with 108 half cells. By cutting the solar cells into two, the current is also divided by two. This reduction of half the current contributes to minimizing resistive losses, allowing cells to generate increased power.
The Sharp NU-JC420B photovoltaic module is made from N-Type TOPCon monocrystalline silicon cells, ensuring a remarkable yield of 21.51%.
The advantages of half-cell modules are multiple, including better production in the presence of shadows compared to conventional panels, increased durability, improved performance, and reduced risk of cracking.
