The generator inverter KS 4000iE S ATS has an integrated ATS unit and can operate in manual and automatic mode.

The OFF-RUN rotary switch on the right side of the generator combine the fuel valve, the 12 V internal power switch and the ignition switch. When generator is not used, this switch must remain in OFF position to prevent the lithium battery from generator don't unload. The generator comes with a disconnected battery, which must be connected under the left hood before the first use. The battery is charged from the internal charge module, during the operation of the generator, or when there is a voltage of 230 V at the sector input (whatever the position of the rotary switch).

The voltage on the sector input (IDS) 230V is monitored as soon as the rotary switch is in the RUN position and the ATS SWITCH is in the ON position. If the 230 V voltage at the sector input disappears, the ATS controller starts the generator and switches outlets 230 V on the power supply from the inverter module.

The KS 4000iE S ATS has 2 outlets of 230 V, which are connected differently according to the version of generator.

Version 1: only for individual electricity consumers (electrical devices)

Both outlets 230 V are active both by working from the sector input and by working from the inverter module of the generator.

In case of work from the sector entrance, both outlets 230 V have the same pattern (IT, TN, TT) that arrives in the sector entrance. The Generator must be placed on the ground in TT and TN systems using a 6-10 mm2 copper cable (according to local regulations) by connecting its earthening screw to the same earth bus as that of the sector entrance (MAINS INPUT) 230V.

Both outlets after switching the feed from generator have an IT diagram with the neutral insulated driver. It is necessary to respect the rules and measures of protection of the IT system.
