12-200 Smart BMS Management System for Lithium-ion Battery - VICTRON
The Smart BMS 12/200 is an all-in-one battery management system for Smart lithium-fer phosphate batteries (LiFePO4)
victron. It has been specially designed to integrate into 12 V systems equipped with a 12 V generator, for example
those of vehicles and boats.
It combines a power limiter, a battery coupler and a battery protector in a single solid and compact solution.
It allows you to connect a 12 V alternator (and a starter battery), whatever its size, consuming charges
and chargers to Smart lithium batteries.
The Smart BMS 12/200 monitors and protects each individual battery cell within the battery (or battery park),
and it will disconnect the alternator, load sources or CC loads in case of overheating or low or high voltage
on the battery cells.
The specific connection point for the alternator allows to limit the current and provide unidirectional traffic
ranging from alternator to battery, so that an alternator (and a starter battery) whatever its size,
can safely connect to a lithium Smart battery (or battery park), and the start-up battery
be protected against excessive discharge.
The BMS is equipped with a Bluetooth function for system monitoring and configuration, a remote ignition/stop connector
to turn off the BMS (and the system) with a remote switch and a pre-alarm contact emitting a warning signal
before the BMS disconnects the batteries from the system.
