Description

Smart BMS CL 12-100 Lithium-ion battery management system - VICTRON

The Smart BMS CL 12/100 is a battery management system for intelligent lithium-fer phosphate batteries (LiFePO4) by Victron.

It was specially designed to integrate into 12 V systems with a 12 V alternator.

The BMS CL 12/100 monitors and protects each individual battery cell within the battery (or battery bench),

and it will disconnect the alternator, charging sources or CC charges in case of low battery voltage,

high battery voltage or overheating.

The input dedicated to the alternator allows to limit the current and provides a unidirectional circulation from the alternator

to the battery, so that an alternator (and a start battery), whatever its size, can connect

safe to a battery or Smart lithium batteries.

The BMS is also equipped with a remote ignition/stop connector to turn off the BMS (and system) with a switch

remotely and a pre-alarm contact, which will allow a warning signal to be released before the BMS disconnects

system batteries.
