In AGM batteries, electrolyte (mixture of water and sulphuric acid) is largely absorbed into the fibre

of glass. This type of battery does not require maintenance or release any gases in normal use.

Since they do not require ventilation, these batteries can be installed anywhere.

Their design allows rapid discharge at high intensities, so AGM batteries are ideal for systems requiring high intensities (e.g. when starting an engine).

Battery terminals can be deflected and this type of battery can be combined with each standard battery terminal.
